The security situation in Imo State is far from getting better as no fewer than three people were killed in Anara in Isiala Mbano local government area when gunmen attacked the community.
The deadly attack took place on Tuesday, in the dead of the night and the entire community was thrown into confusion and the community couldn’t sleep as gunshot rend the air.
“In fact throughout the night, we had our hearts in our mouth as sporadic gunshots not heard before took over our environment. As I am talking to you now, not even a chicken is outside,” a resident said while narrating what happened.
Police Public Relations Officer; CSP Mike Abattam confirmed the incident.
He said that investigation has commerced.
