TOAN boss ‘s a peace maker- Activist

The Media Adviser of Anambra State branch of Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN), has described their boss, Comrade Sylvester Chibueze Obiora, as a peace loving man.

The assertion came against the backdrop of allegation of threat to life by one Arinze Agbani against Comrade Sylvester Chibueze Obiorah and his Executive.

Dede Uzor said those who know their leader very well would appreciate that he is not only a lawyer but a peace loving man, who cannot hurt a fly but a philanthropist.

He said before Obiora’s emergence as the leader of TOAN in Anambra State there were about 50 cases among Keke owners in the State but he has been able to resolve the issues amicably.

He said Obiora he knows very cannot threaten anybody, rather he deployed diplomacy to resolve every matter that came to his table in course of administering of Keke operation in the State.

The Media chief said: The allegation is a figment of Agbani’s own imagination.

His so called association has been proscribed by the Anambra State government.

If he is still collecting money from Keke owners and operators at Owerri Road, then he is engaging in extortion and it is a criminal offence”.

He accused Agbani of having a gang that intimidate Keke operators which he said has since been stopped, saying that Agbani has no single Keke anywhere in the State.

Dede Uzor said the State Government will not hesitate to declare him wanted if he continued to cause trouble, challenging Agbani to explain what led to his recent release from prison,if not extortion associated with Keke members?
