Absorb The Counsel of Dele Momodu, Activist Charges Buhari

Post Date : February 1, 2021

An Imo State born human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to absorb the good counsel of the publisher of the Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, who released a video message admonishing Nigerian government to utilize the divine talent of the Igbo for nationhood and economic development than the unreasonable ethnic marginalisation, ridicule and subjugation.

Comrade Njoku, noted that Mr. Dele Momodu spoke the honest mind of Ndigbo in the video clip.

“I heartily admire the dictum that compliments the resilience and courageous attributes of Dele Momodu. Truthful revelation should be deeply celebrated when established.

“Obviously, Dele Momodu, is a non-cap wearing hero who admires and loves the God-given talent of the Igbo. He is an honest man who speaks truth to power especially when he is convinced of the unhidden truth.

“He spoke the mind of Ndigbo in the clip where he admonished Mr. President to abort his unhinged politics of hate against Ndigbo.

“I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to absorb the good counsel of this Yoruba nationalist in good faith and honesty.

“I am utterly glad that uncountable Igbo groups and organisations have agreed with me that Mr. Dele Momodu demonstrated an uncommon pro bono counsel in a video clip to General Buhari, allies and cabal whose marginalisation, xenophobic traits, lopsidedness and nepotistic bigotry had been grossly institutionalised against Ndigbo since 2015 till this moment”, said Mr. Paul.

Recall that the video content of Dele Momodu has generated controversies by some political pundits as he was seen saying:

“How can anybody say an Igboman cannot be President of Nigeria and I would accept it? Then, it shows how brainless I am. If I am the President of Nigeria today, I would have turned Southeast Nigeria into a hub, our silicone value.

“These are people endowed. They are brilliant as the Chinese, the Koreans and the Indians put together.

“We have them. Why are we not using them? Is because there was a civil war. We said, we have forgiven ourselves but an Igboman cannot become anything in Nigeria and cannot be trusted to be Inspector-General of Police! Why?

“Look at Jeo Biden, he already appointed Nigerians into his government before his inauguration. He didn’t say that Nigerians are very corrupt people which is a stupid sentiment people express against us. He appointed them because he saw their talents.

“The Secretary of Defense in Pentagon is a black man. But in Nigeria, you say an Igboman cannot be Inspector-General of Police, an Igboman cannot be Chief of Army Staff, why?

“If you don’t want them, if you don’t trust them and they say they want to go, why are you stopping them? Even slaves got freedom.

“These are people contributing in World Economy and not just the Nigerian economy. The Igbo are contributing to the Works economy.

“There have been no country I visited and did not find an Igboman either at the peak of academia, businesses etc. They are everywhere. Then, you come back to Nigeria and you are discriminating them saying they cannot agitate for their own nation.

“We are the one causing the problem. If you want an Igboman, then bring them nearer and see if they would not perform.

In this Lagos, anything we want to do in OVATION, we would say, “let’s go to computer village”, “let’s go to Alaba”. Who are the people controlling Alaba? Do you think that people with empty -brains can control those things the Igbo control?

“Even with the Biafra agitation, if you go to Kano today, without the Igbo selling spare- parts, nobody would function, all the cars there would come to standstill. You go to Sokoto, you would meet them there. Go to Borno, go to Iraq, go to Alfghanistan, you would see Igboman doing great”.
