Micheal Abattam, the police spokesperson in Imo says that Uche Nwosu, a former governorship candidate iof the State was arrested by the police.
Abattam said this in a phone chat with Crimefacts reporter on Sunday afternoon.
However, the police spokesperson didn’t state the reason for Okorocha in-law’s arrest by the police.
The incident occured during the Outing Service of the victim’s mother, late Jemamah Nwosu.
Nwosu was in the village for the burial last weekend.
According to eyewitnesses, unknown person stormed the church while service was still on and shot into the air.
They thereafter bundled Nwosu into the trunk of a waiting vehicle.
