Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, spokesman of the Kano police command, said the suspect was arraigned before a magistrate court in Kano on Monday.
Tanko(pictured on the right) was paraded by the police last week Thursday after confessing to the murder of the girl.
The suspect, alongside two others, is being charged with “criminal conspiracy, kidnapping and culpable homicide”.
