The mammoth crowd had converged at the Michael Okpara Square in the early hours of the day from where they marched through the capital city singing solidarity songs for Obi and dancing as they moved.
It was observed that members and supporters of political parties other than Obi’s Labour Party participated in the rally.
Some residents, who were not part of the crowd at the inception, abandoned their activities to join the crowd chanting “Obi is our next president”.
