In its first public response to the Ukrainian victories on the battlefield, Russia says it will succeed in its military objectives in the country.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, said this to journalists on Monday while reaffirming confidence in the military leadership of Vladimir Putin, Russia’s president.
“The military operation continues. And it will continue until the goals that were originally set are achieved,” he said.
