The Center For Innovative And Pragmatic Development Initiative, CiPDI has tasked Nigerians on continuous giving and support especially to vulnerable people this yuletide period.
The organization said this in a Christmas message to Nigerians on Sunday.
CiPDI president, Mr Ifeanyi Nwanoro said there’s a need for a continuous support to one another despite religion or ethnicity in Nigeria.
Nwanoro said, “Therefore, we are celebrating the birthday of Jesus, whom God sent here on earth to live like us human being, to understand what we are going through, and to show us the way to live a fulfilling life amidst all the problems that surround us.
“We can’t love and show love through giving if there’s no love in our hearts. It’s the same way many of us can’t be happy for others because we are not happy ourselves. It is difficult to forgive others if we can’t forgive ourselves first. If what we have in our hearts are pure hatred, anger, insecurities, fault-finding, aacomplaining and the rest, then no doubt that’s all we have to give.
“Talent undeveloped and untapped is like one living life without existing, or existing without living.
Speaking further, “Remember, the best Christmas or New Year gift you can give yourself, is to discover your purpose, understand your purpose, line it up with your talent, develop them, work on them, walk in and with them, stand on them, and above all grow, grow, grow and grow some more” he reiterated.
