A human rights activist and author, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has urged the President Buhari-led Federal Government not to attempt arresting or assassinating the Yoruba Activist, Sunday Igbo.
Activist Paul warned that Nigerian youths, Igbo activists and collaborators will resist such ruthless absolutism.
“This government should leave Sunday Igboho alone. He must not be kidnapped, abducted, arrested killed or assassinated by the Buhari-led government who has unprecedentedly failed to protect the lives and property of Nigerians as enshrined in the Constitution.
“Self-defense is a gurranteed international law and human rights according to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter on human and peoples’ rights which Nigeria is signatory to.
“Nigerian youths, Igbo like-minds, activists and collaborators will rise and resist further absolutism meted out on Activist Sunday Igboho as the continued threats to his harmless life is totally unacceptable”, Mr. Paul, stated.
Recall that on February 26, 2021, an attempt to arrest the Yoruba Activist by a joint team of soldiers, DSS operatives and policemen on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while on his way to meet with a Chieftain of Afenifere, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, in Lagos was reported and shown in a viral video.
