Police operatives have killed there gunmen campaigning for no election in the southeast at Awada police station, Idemiri North Local Government Area of Anambra State on Monday morning.
This comes less than 24 hours after five gunmen and a corp were killed in failed attack on 33 police station in Anambra State on Sunday.
A police source confirmed this to crimedacts.newx on Monday morning.
He said, “Police neutralised three gunmen in Awada today. Kudos to our gallant men who serve and protect with integrity”.
However another police source who preferred anonymity told crimefacts.news that the Divisional Police Officer, DPO and three other officers were killed in the attack.
The source identified the DPO simply as Isiowulu
