The Department of State Security (DSS) in Enugu has DSSarrested and detained the National President of Nkanu Youths, Hon. Edeani M. Edeani.
The youth leader who was invited by the security agency on Wednesday was reportedly kept in custody.
A reliable source informed EverydayNews that his detention is connected to alleged threat letters he wrote to some high Institutions in the state.
Details of the letters were not disclosed to this medium but the source hinted it may have to do with request for royalties to the host Communities of the Institutions.
This is contrary to reports that his detention has to do with an alleged statement made by Nkanu youths where they cautioned the elder brother of the Labour Party Senatorial candidate in Enugu East Senatorial Zone, Hon. Lucky Chukwu from his continued campaign of calumny and defamation against Nkanu Nation, stakeholders and politicians.
An inside source also dismissed reports that the youth leader was denied access to his family.
He also informed that the matter is being resolved.
