Unknown Gunmen have attacked Isuofia community, the home town of Anambra Governor, Prof Charles Soludo, killing one police officer.
The Nation reports that the incident occurred on Friday morning, at the junction leading to the Governor’s house where security operatives erected a post.
Reports says that the idea of building security post at the junction, angered the hoodlums, making them storm the arena shooting non- stop, forcing residents to scamper for safety.
Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ikenga Tochukwu was not available to confirm the incident but a senior police officer in the state confirmed to The Nation that only one police officer was killed in the attack.
