A youth leader of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Tsagero Ward in Rimi Local Government of Katsina State, Badamasi Rabe, has been assassinated by unknown gunmen.
The unfortunate incident was confirmed by the national youth leader of the PDP, Prince Muh’d Kadade Suleiman in a statement issued on Sunday.
Prince Muh’d Kadade Suleiman, expressed shock over the incident and called on the security agencies to investigate the matter with the aim of bringing the perpetrators to book.
“I received with great shock news of the assassination of Badamasi Rabe by unknown gunmen. Until his death, Rabe was the PDP Youth Leader of Tsagero Ward in Rimi Local Government of Katsina State.
“My heartfelt condolence goes to his immediate family and All PDP members in Rimi LGA and Katsina State at large.
“I also want to use this medium to condemn the killing and also appeal to all security agencies and the Katsina State Government to investigate and bring the perpetrators to book. May Allah in his infinite mercy forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul firdaus, the statement reads.
