EEDC notifies Imo residents over planned blackout Tuesday

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has informed residents in Imo State of a planned outage on Alaoji-Owerri lines 1 & 2, scheduled to take place from Friday 4th to Tuesday 8th November, 2022, from 9am to 3pm.

According to Emeka Ezeh, Head Corporate Communication, EEDC, this is to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) crew carry out maintenance on the mentioned lines.

Emeka said as a result of this development, all 33KV feeders in the state, namely: Airport, Owerri 3, Oguta, Orlu, New Owerri, Mbaise, Okigwe and Alex feeders will be on zero supply during the period of the maintenance.

“The exercise is geared towards improved and quality electricity supply, and arrangement has been made to restore supply to customers each day, after the day’s maintenance.

“We sincerely regret the inconveniences this will cause our esteemed customers, and assure them of our commitment towards delivering improved services.
