Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), says anyone who gets into politics should be prepared for betrayal.
Speaking on Sunday at a banquet he hosted in Port Harcourt, capital city of Rivers state, on Sunday, Wike said politics and betrayal “are from the same parents”.
The immediate-past governor of Rivers said anyone who cries to him that they have been betrayed, after they are gone, he settles down to a good whiskey.
“You must have shock absorbers, that’s the only way you can survive,” he said.
“That’s why some of you who are always crying… if you want to survive in life, you must have a shock absorber
“President Tinubu told me, when we met, he said ‘look, politics and betrayal are the same mother and father’.
