There was a palpable fear among residents after unknown gunmen attacked naval check point at Enamel junction along Onitsha-Owerri road, Anambra state
Crimefacts.news gathered that the gunmen attacked the naval check point around 6pm on Tuesday evening.
According to a resident who spoke on the condition of anonymity said many people were wounded by stray bullets from attack.
He said, “We have been in fear since this Tuesday evening after unknown gunmen attacked naval check point at Enamel junction along Onitsha- Owerri road. I can tell you that many pedestrians were wounded by stray bullets from attack.
Speaking further, “two naval officers were killed while the gunmen kidnapped one, ” the resident said.
When Crimefacts.news contracted Anambra state police public relations officer, DSP Anthony Ikennga Tichukwu said he hasn’t gotten any detail on the incident.
