Chido Cargo and Logistics Services LTD is a super brand in haulage business known for their integrity and trust in business.
Ndigbo are known for their republican nature which defines whom they are, therefore no Igbo man will sit down and watch his hard earned money or his flourishing business dwindle by another man and fold his arms.
It is said that one good turn deserves another but not with GUO company where his son Maduabuchukwu sees himself as a demigod and indulge in all manners of human rights abuses through the Police escorts attached to him.
It would be recalled that Nigerians had been calling goverment to direct security agencies to withdraw the escorts attached to VIPs and businessmen , this is because of practice of indiscriminate use of police escort by private businessmen, describing it as unfair to the ordinary Nigerians.
The flagrant violation of the law and abuse of Human rights by most of these uniformed men calls for stiffer measures.
Also, former IGP, Mohammed Adamu, had in a move to curb the menace before his retirement, ordered the withdrawal of policemen attached to VIPs across the nation.
However, that directive and others before it, till date, didn’t see the light of the day.
The Problem
According to the CEO CHIDO Cargo and Logistics, Mr Chidozie Idoko, ” I decided to go to Press because this has come after much apprehension, anxiety and seemingly obtrusive moves by the company to deny my driver and my Company access to our truck impounded in their premises” by men of the Nigeria Police attached to Maduabuchukwu Okeke.
Mr Idoko reiterated that all effort to see the said Maduaburochukwu Okeke who is in charge of GUO business proved abortive as he also ignores his calls.
“Ours ( CHIDO Cargo and Logistics and GUO company) ought to be a friendship of mutual understanding and shared tenets built over the years.
Mr Idoko narrated that Kenechukwu Okeke had told him that Uche Ezeanochie their former driver should go and do proper handover of his former Truck with GUO motors and get cleared from Mr Chike popularly known as Ogidi who is the manager in charge of Trucks,
after that they’ll release his own truck.
Based on that premise, Mr Idoko the owner of the said impounded truck instructed Uche to travel from Lagos on 13th October 2022 to Onitsha to ensure every drama ends for peace to reign.
“On getting to Onitsha, he was asked to pay N25,000 for head lamps which he did .
“To the greatest suprise, all the efforts put in search of peace was aborted as the said Mercedes Benz Truck with registration number 680 YF belonging to
CHIDO CARGO & LOGISTICS remain seized for no just cause.
The truck was ceased on October 4th 2022 when Uche Ezeanochie, a former driver with GUO company went to the company’s park to eat and rest.
The questions demanding for answers are; where lies our integrity and conscience as a people?
Demands
Chido Cargo and Logistics services Ltd therefore is demanding for release of his truck and the accumulated money involved totalling over ten million naira N10,000,000.
GUO company and should live and let others live, he reiterated.
