Many persons were feared killed and property worth millions of naira destroyed following the renewed communal clash between Mbasombo and Mbaivur communities in Gwer East local government area yesterday.
The age-long crisis has defied solution.
In 2021, the communities clashed seven times with many killed and houses burnt.
The Nation learnt that the squabble is over land, with one community describing the other as settlers.
Police spokesperson Kate Anene said the crisis started last week, adding the policemen were sent to the area.
