A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ondo State, Dr. Paul Akintelure, is dead.
The Otunba of Ikaleland reportedly died in a hospital in Lagos State.
Akintelure three days ago after he alleged threat to his life in a statement.
Here are few things to know about late Akintelure
1. He hailed from Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
2. Akintelure, in 2012, ran as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) with Oluwarotimi Akeredolu against Olusegun Mimiko, the then Labour Party flag bearer, who won the election.
3. Before then, he contested for the Ondo South senatorial election also under the ACN against the Peoples Democratic Party candidate but lost.
4. He was a Lagos-based private medical practitioner.
5. He had promised to give Ondo youths N5bn loan if elected as Governor.
