The management of Ozisa 96.1fm wishes to state that Ozisa Fm was not shut down but temporarily suspended.
According to the management, the matter is being handled by the Appropriate Authorities.
The statement reads in part, “We appreciate the understanding of the National Broadcasting Commission. NBC.
“That Ozisa Radio Station is not owned by the Catholic Church but rather by Ozisa Foundation for Peace and Social Development and that it is in the church premises on a leased property.
“We would want to discourage all speculations and inciting statements.
Ozisa Radio will continue to offer a platform for the community to contribute and foster civic responsibility and integration.
