Former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar is likely to emerge as the presidential flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in the 2023 general elections.
Though counting is still ongoing, Atiku is showing a clear lead with Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike in a hot pursuit.
Saraki is coming a very distant third while Bala Mohammed and Udom Emmanuel of Bauchi and Akwa Ibom States, as well as Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim are missing in action.
Should Atiku succeed, he will be flying the party’s flag for the second time in a quick succession.
