...Says: “Wike fighting a just cause”
A popular celibate prophet, Godfrey Gbujie has risen in support of the defiant position of Governor Nyesom Wike against the National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu, calling on the former Senator to resign without delay.
Gbujie who is the leader of the Divine Intervention Christian Movement (DICM) maintains that Wike is fighting a just cause against injustice, in accordance with the will of God.
Addressing newsmen in Owerri Saturday, Gbujie described Iyorchia Ayu’s role in the PDP presidential primary as “biased, unfatherly and corrupt”.
His words: “As God’s prophetic spokesman and Minister in-charge of the unfolding divine intervention and having directly and clearly heard from the Supreme Lord, Judge of heavens and earth concerning Governor Nyesom Wike’s on-going righteous ‘politico-moral war’ against Prof. Iyorchia Ayu’s Chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the questionable conduct of the May, 2022 Presidential Election Primary Congress at Abuja, I cannot but ministerially, uncompromisingly, unreservedly and openly denounce Ayu’s biased, unfatherly and corrupt conduct of the decisive event and it’s fall-out.”
Gbujie who said that the word has already gone out and his organization and its affiliate groups are unanimous in condemning Ayu’s handling of the Presidential primary of the PDP and therefore advise that the only honourable option left for Ayu, is to resign.
He said, “Therefore I and all members of Divine Intervention Christian Movement do hereby declare our full support for His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike and his group in the Socio-Political and moral war against Sen. Iyorchia Ayu.
“We cannot and shall not allow any crafty derailment and public disgrace of the balanced Muslim-Christian ticket.
“I and my Followers therefore agree to “call and demand” for the “immediate resignation or forced exit of Sen. Iyorchia Ayu from the office of the National Chairmanship Office of PDP.”
Gbujie and his group also called for the immediate rotation of the Office of the National Chairman of the Party to the South-East zone which has not produced a Presidential Candidate of the Party since the inception of the Party in 1998/1999.
“We also call for the immediate internal probe of the finances of the PDP”, the Prophet stressed.
He shortlisted Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Mr. Peter Obi as the God-ordained apex opposition leaders that will lead the charge ahead of the divine intervention.
