Abia varsity bans students from driving personal cars on campus

 

The Abia State University, Uturu has banned the students of the institution from driving their personal cars and flagrant display of wealth on campus.

This is coming days after the management of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State, took the same decision.

  • In a notice obtained by NIGERIAN PILOT and issued on February 1st titled: “ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT BANS STUDENTS FROM DRIVING PERSONAL VEHICLES ON CAMPUS” which was signed by the registrar Acho Elendu, Ph.D, the University said: “Henceforth, only staff and accredited visitors would be allowed to drive their vehicles into the campus.

The notice also stated that: “Any student who violates this directive, which is in the interest of the University community, shall face severe disciplinary action,” advising the students to “please be guided.”
