Tension In Kano As Police Kill Two

There is perplex tension in Kano state following the purported killing of two youths by policemen from anti-daba unit of the state police command.

While there has not been any official confirmation in respect to the incident, it was gathered that the victims were shot at Sharada quarters when the anti-daba unit visited.

Unconfirmed report says the police were in the habit of extorting the youths of the area but the same attempt was resisted on Saturday which resulted to the use of live ammunition and the death of two.

The victims were identified as Abubakar Isah and “Ibrahim Sulaiman (Mainasara).

The Kano State Police Command was yet to react to this while the victims were said to have been buried on Sunday.
