Kano State Hisbah Board has confirmed the arrest of one Yahaya Zakari, a chemist, who uses a secluded house aside from his shop to have affair with women.
The suspect, who is a resident of Sabuwar Gandu in Kano metropolis, was trapped in the house by the local security operatives in the area on Friday.
According to the Hisbah’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Lawan Fagge, Zakari was arrested after he entered with a lady to the house with the intention of running a medical check on her.
He was then taken to the Hisbah headquarters as a way of taming subsequent occurrence.
Residents of the area have accused the suspect of using the house to carrying out his dirty business.
The Hisbah General Commander in the State, Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sinah, has since ordered further investigation on the issue.
