Kwara Governor’s aide, Sulaiman resigns

Prof. Wale Sulaiman, the Special Adviser to
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of
Kwara State on Healthcare, has resigned
his appointment with immediate effect.

In his letter of resignation to the governor
on Wednesday, Sulaiman said he left his
position in order to focus on his private
business and foundation.

He said that one of his legacies was that he
developed a road map for better healthcare
in Kwara State in order to position it as one
of the states in Nigeria with better
healthcare.

“My passion in life is to create
opportunities where there are none, and to
give hope to the underprivileged, using my
skills, expertise, and professional network.

“I had hoped that I could accomplish these
goals as a public servant, but came to the
realisation that I will be more effective and
productive out of government.”

Reacting to the resignation in a statement
by his Chief Press Secretary to the
governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, governor
AbdulRazaq thanked Sulaiman for helping
the administration so much in the health
sector and wish him all the best in his
future endeavours.
