Another young lady, yet to be identified, was found lifeless and dumped in Ombi 1 community near Mustapha Agwei II State Polytechnic, Lafia, Vanguard reports.
This incident occurs a week after an acclaimed gospel singer killed and dismembered his girlfriend, Salome Adaidu, in the state.
Ombi 1 community, where the lifeless body of the young lady was discovered, has been thrown into panic.
The area, dominated by hoodlums disguising themselves as students of the State Polytechnic located in Ombi 1, has turned into a hideout.
Numerous clubs and drinking joints in the area, coupled with various social activities, have led to the untimely deaths of many young people. Despite ongoing patrols by security operatives, the hoodlums continue to perpetuate atrocities against innocent residents.
Investigations revealed that the lady was brutally murdered in cold blood, her body dragged from a junction and dumped behind a compound on Saturday night, where it was later discovered in the morning.
According to the Area Command, the police have commenced an investigation into the matter, as no one has come forward to identify the deceased.
The police authorities have called on members of the public to assist in identifying the deceased.
