The Directorate of State Services, (DSS) arrested an ex-councilor, Hon Tunde Boladale who served in Isokan Local Government Area, Osun State for maligning Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
The Nation gathered that he was invited to the Command on Wednesday thereafter; he was detained and has not returned to his house.
A political group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State, named The Osun Progressives (TOP), which the former governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola chaired the Board of Trustees in a release claimed that Hon Boladale who ended his tenure in Isokan LGA was arrested for making derogatory remarks about the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
The statement signed by the chairman of TOP, Elder Adelowo Adebiyi, made available to newsmen disclosed that Boladale is currently being held at the State Security Service (SSS) where he had reported since 12noon, based on invitation by the state director Wednesday.

“A commissioner in the cabinet of Governor Oyetola had invited him meeting urging him to renounce his membership of the Osun Progressives (TOP). But he refused and declared that Aregbesola is his leader.
“The next thing was the invitation by the director of SSS where he was alleged to have made some statements against the Governor and asked about his membership of the T.O.P. While denying making any statement against the Governor, Boladale affirmed his membership of TOP and unalloyed loyalty to Aregbesola who he said did a lot of good things that he appreciates.”
The group condemned the arrest of the ex-councillor.
