Two brother brutalise pregnant woman in Ebonyi

Police in Ebonyi have arrested two siblings for allegedly attacking an expectant mother and inflicting injuries on her.

The police gave the name of the arrested brothers as Sunday Nnabu and Chidera Nnabu.

They allegedly attacked Mrs. Anna Nwonu at her home in Ndufu Ezzama, Ezza South local government area of the state.

Her husband, Pastor Benjamin Nwonu told The Nation that the suspects came into his compound with their mother and brutalised his pregnant wife, inflicting injuries on her.

Police spokesperson, Loveth Odah confirmed the arrest of the suspects by the command, describing their cases as stealing, malicious damage and assault occasioning harm”.
