The collation officer for ihiala local government area of Anambra State, Professor Muhammadu Umar has declared that there was no election in the council area.
The collation officer said election didn’t hold in the area. His account is in tandem with the reports from the local government which said that the electoral officer attempted to produce results without the conduct of election.
There are slightly over 148, 000 registered voters in the area with 20 wards.
Election is expected to be held in the area between Sunday and Monday.
