BREAKING: Okorocha’s in-law, Uche Nwosu freed

Uche Nwosu, a former governorship candidate in Imo has been released by the police, Crimefacts has learnt.

A family source close to Nwosu informed Crimefacts.news of his release on Monday morning.

The source said that Nwosu was released on Sunday night.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the family source said that Uche Nwosu was flown to police Headquarters Abuja on Sunday before his release later in the night.

Recall that Nwosu was arrested at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.

The incident occured during the Outing Service of the victim’s mother, late Jemamah Nwosu.

Nwosu was in the village for the burial last weekend.

According to eyewitnesses, the policemen stormed the church while service was still on and shot into the air.

They thereafter bundled Nwosu into the trunk of a waiting vehicle.

As at the time of filling this report, Micheal Abattam, Imo police spokesperson didn’t respond to calls put across to him for confirmation.
