Senate Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu, has urged Ndigbo to learn to trust President Muhammadu Buhari.
He spoke on Thursday at his Igbere country home in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
It was during a meeting with leaders of the OUK Movement and Reality Organisation.
The former governor said Igbos should believe and trust President Buhari.
He described the President as a disciplined leader. –
According to him, Buhari may soon surprise the Igbos.
He believes the President has done more viable economic projects in the Southeast than other past leaders.
This, he said, contradicts the general perception that Buhari dislikes the Southeast.
He urged All Progressives Congress (APC) members to remain loyal, stressing that the unity of the country was very important.
Kalu called on members of the support group to be true disciples of the organisation.
He warned that 2023 will no longer be business as usual, adding that only votes of eligible voters would count.
Kalu hopes the APC would produce the next governor of the state and other positions in 2023.
