A man simply identified as Chinedu Amah was publicly thrashed after his daughter accused him of raping her five times.
Nigerian Pilot gathered that the incident occurred in Obichie Ukomi, Lokpanta Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.
It was also learnt that the video of the father’s humiliation has gone viral.
The girl, who is obviously underage but appears to be older than nine, is seen in the video narrating how her father allegedly defiled her.
She said it has happened about 5 times.
She alleged that her father, named Chiedu Ama, told her to strip then he applied oil to her private part before the act.
When our correspondent contacted Abia State police spokesperson, Geoffrey Ogbonna confirmed the incident.
However he stated that the community ostracized the man . He equally said that uptill the moment, the community hasn’t made a formal report to the police.
Ogbonna assured that the police will do the right thing whenever the case is being reported.
