The Rector of Altinbas University Turkey, Dr Cagri Erhan, has said the institution is proud of Nigerian students because of their excellence and professionalism.
He gave the commendation in Abuja during an interview on the sidelines of an interaction between officials of the university and members of their alumni in Nigeria, on Saturday.
He disclosed that the University, which was established in 2003, has been having students from Nigeria studying in various fields like Medicine, Engineering, Law.
According to him, most of its Nigerian alumnus have already got jobs and established businesses.
He said the University, which started as charity organisation, offers international students a conducive learning environment.
Dr Erhan informed that the University is one of the highly ranked universities in Turkey and had recently received over 2000 applications from international students
