Cubana Chief Priest Released By EFCC

 

Paschal Okechukwu a.k.a Cubana Chief Priest, has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The anti graft agency has released the socialite and club owner on Monday night.

The nightlife outstanding promoter was arrested last week in Abuja by EFCC operatives on the charges of money laundering and tax fraud.

After his arrest, It was gathered that the commission had sent several invitations to him which he kept ignoring until he was intercepted at Abuja while trying to board a plan back to Owerri.

His release was confirmed by Nigeria music superstar, Davido who took to his Instagram story page to announce the development, writing “My bestie is free!!!”

 

Although the conditions for his release isn’t clear yet, the socialite is now a free man as he was released by the commission on Monday evening.
