A 12 years old unidentified house girl has jumped from a storey building, fracturing her leg in the process, while trying to avoid rape by her master.
Details of the incident are still sketchy, but THE RAZOR NEWS gathered that the incident took place in Ifite Awka on Thursday.
A journalist, Mrs Ify Unachukwuwho posted the in ident on her Facebook page called for help for the young girl, who is said to be presently in critical condition, after escaping.
Unachukwu wrote” 12 year old househelp jumps down the window of a storey building to escape rape by her ‘Oga’. She sustained fracture of her leg bone (tibia). Now moved from Climax Specialist Hospital, Awka to COOUTH Amaku.”
Meanwhile, the Anambra State Police command said it has arrested the culprit.
DSP Toochukwu Ikenga the spokesperson of the command said The suspect was making statement currently, assuring that he will send the full detail of the incident to us once ready.
“The suspect is custody and investigation has begun please,” he added.
