How dare-devil criminals robbed lady, gang-raped, blackmailed her with rape video

Police operatives of the Anambra State Police Command, in the early hours of Wednesday, 20th November, 2019, at about 03:30am, apprehended a four-man criminal syndicate which had been on their watch-list, in Ozubulu, Anambra state.

The operatives drawn from the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested four suspects namely Collins Okpala, 25 years; Nwachukwu Chimanya, 20years; Kenechukwu Anyasi, 23 years  and Pascal Ogbuagu, 22 years. 


Crimefacts.news reports that the suspects had on the 14th of February 2019, abducted a 21-year old lady (Name withheld) robbed her of her belongings and equally gang-raped her severally.

Furthermore, the suspects made a pornographic video clip of the rape incident and used the video to blackmail the victim to the tune of One Million Naira (N1,000,000).

According a press statement signed by spokesman of the Anambra State police command, SP Haruna Mohammed, the suspects have confessed to the crime while the said video clip was also recovered from their phones and registered as exhibit.

The statement assured that the suspects will soon be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.
