Man Stabbed To Death By Wife’s Lesbian Lover In Anambra

 

Odoja community in Onitsha, Anambra State has been thrown into mourning as a man identified as Ikechukwu Onuma popularly known as Ayaaya Onye-Obodo, was stabbed to death by his wife’s female lover.

There are two accounts surrounding the unfortunate incident which happened on Monday, 8th August, 2022.

One of the accounts said Ebele Onochie, the partner of late Ikechukwu Onuma stabbed the later to death when he returned home unannounced and met his wife and her female lover making out.

In a bid to silence the man, the wife’s female lover reportedly stabbed him to death.

Another report said Mr. Onuma was killed when he went to appeal to Ebele Onochie to leave his wife alone. In the process, an argument ensued and the man was stabbed to death.

Speaking with Journalist101, Ikenga Tochukwu, a deputy Superintendent of police and the spokesman of Anambra State Police Command said the suspect is in custody and the commissioner of police, CP Echeng Echeng has directed that the matter be transferred to state Criminal Investigation Department.

“We have a suspect in custody and the Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng has ordered immediate transfer of the case to State CID for a proper investigation.

“Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect stabbed the victim on the chest. He was rushed to the hospital before he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

“What led to the suspect’s action has not been ascertained, meanwhile investigation have just began. Further details shall be communicated please,” Ikenga told our correspondent.

The remains of Ikechukwu Onuma has been deposited in a morgue.
