Niger Assembly sacks majority leader, deputy, Chief Whip

Members of the Niger Assembly have sacked the Majority Leader, the Deputy Majority Leader, and the Chief Whip.

They equally elected new persons to replace them.

It was gathered that Majority Leader Saleh Ibrahim; deputy leader Binta Mamman and Chief Whip Bello Ahmed were sacked.

They were subsequently replaced by Mohammed Abba Bala as the new Majority Leader, while Madaki Malik Bosso was made his deputy.

Lawmaker Salihu Edati was made the new Chief Whip.
