The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council says it will formally begin its campaign with a rally in Jos, the Plateau capital, on November 15.
Simon Lalong, governor of Plateau, is director-general of the campaign council.
In a statement on Thursday, Bayo Onanuga, director of media and publicity for the campaign team, said the exercise officially began with a town hall meeting that Bola Tinubu, APC presidential candidate, had with business leaders.
Onanuga also said there would be a mega rally in Kano on February 11, 2023 to mark the end of the campaign.
“Other highlights of the campaign are rallies in Imo on Monday, 21 November, Kwara 22 Nov; Adamawa 24 Nov, Ogun 26 Nov, Enugu 26 Nov and Sokoto on 30 November,” the statement reads.
“In between the rallies are scheduled five town hall meetings, one of which will be with Interfaith groups in Abuja on 9 November.
“The other town hall meetings will be between the candidate and various business and agricultural groups.”
Onanuga asked party chieftains across the country to mobilise support for Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, his running mate.
