The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Executive Committee (NEC) has elected the immediate past governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje as the party National Chairman.
The APC acting National Chairman,
Sen.Abubakar Kyari, disclosed this at the end of the 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party in Abuja.
Kyari stated that Ganduje was unanimous endorsed at the meeting as the new chairman of the party.

In his acceptance speech, the APC National Chairman expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the election,and also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other party leaders.
Gandoje further expressed commitment to the ideals of the party, while promising to carry out more reforms in the party in alignment with the current political landscape.
He however appealed to Nigerians to bear with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the country’s trying moment, considering that the economy had been in shambles for years.
