THE Northern States Governors Forum is set to commission and bankroll a study of issues raised by the Centre for Historical Documentation and Research , Arewa House , Kaduna on the # EndSARS protests.

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State , who disclosed this in Kaduna at the Golden Jubilee celebration of the establishment of the Arewa House, said the steps were aimed at forestalling future occurrences and mitigating the outcomes, particularly for the northern region .

Tambuwal , who represented the Chairman of the NSGF and Plateau State Governor , Simon Lalong, assured the Arewa House, which is affiliated to the Ahmadu Bello University , Zaria , that its recommendations on the

EndSARS study would be implemented by the NSGF .

“ As I urged all leaders in the region to be accommodating and draw people closer; it became necessary to undertake the study as the lessons to be learnt from the fallout of the

EndSARS are many , ” he said .
