Man Lynched Over ‘Missing’ Genital In Abuja

has been lynched for allegedly causing the disappearance of another man’s genitals, Emmanuel Danladi, in Kabusa village in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the FCT.

The FCT Commissioner of Police (CP) Haruna Garba, who disclosed this during a press briefing on Wednesday, said operatives from the Kabusa Division, after receiving a distress call, swung into action and rescued both the victim and the suspect.

He explained that, “Unfortunately, Alhaji Tijani who was attacked by the mob for causing the disappearance of the man’s manhood was confirmed dead by the medical doctor on duty.

“However, the genitals of Emmanuel Danladi who raised the false alarm that his penis had disappeared were confirmed intact and active by a medical doctor.”

He said Danladi, who raised the false alarm, was in police custody along with two others who resorted to mob action resulting in the death of the victim.

He further said that a similar incident happened after a distress call that one Mathew Michael was about to be lynched at the Apo Primary School, hence that operatives from the Apo Division mobilised to the scene and rescued him.

He explained that an unidentified male corpse was discovered on the ground and that preliminary investigation revealed that the said Mathew Michael and one Ezekiel, a wanted and notorious cultist currently at large, murdered the victim which resulted in the mob action on Michael.
