Tension in Rivers as court remands gov aspirant in police custody

 

A member of the House of Representatives and governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Farah Dagogo, has been remanded in police custody.

A Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt and presided over by Chief Magistrate Amadi Nna gave the order following the lawmaker’s arraignment on Friday.
Dagogo represents the Degema/Bonny Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Dagogo did not attend the screening of aspirants for the 2023 governorship election due to his arrest on Thursday.
