The immediate former executive governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayodele Fayose, has declared that the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, is not a politician.
Mr. Fayose who made the statement on Channels Television Sunday Politics program, anchored and featured on February 14, 2021, added that “Fani-Kayode would have been completely dead as a frontline Nigerian” if he defects to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Anyone who leaves PDP for the APC at this time must be taken away by his own covetousness.
“Some people could choose to be dishonorable not me. I know FFK is going no where. I have spoken to him about six times.
“A number of times, is normal for you to sell your market for those who want to buy.
“And if FFK leaves PDP, he would have been dead. He is completely dead as a frontline Nigerian.
“FFK is not a politcian anyway. FFK is not a day-to- day politcian. But he is a fighter. He is somebody that believes things must be done properly and he is doing that.
“I have spoken to him because I have to ask him, “FFK, is this correct”? “Is this true”?. He said, “my brother is far from it”. And I said, “speak up”. And I want him to speak up”, Fayose said.
Recall that Fani-Kayode recently had a widely reported meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) interim National Chairman, Mai Mala Buni and Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who categorically stated that Fani-Kayode had joined the ruling party, APC.
