2023: Tinubu/Shetima will win presidential election – Lalong

 

The Director General, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Gov Simon Bako Lalong has assured that the Tinubu/Shetima APC presidential ticket will emerge victorious at the 2023 presidential elections based on the popularity and acceptability of the party and its candidates.

The DG expressed this optimism at the national convention of one of its ardent support groups, Nigeria-for-BAT, held at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Yakubu Dati, the DG said the Campaign Council is fine-tuning its strategies o ensure members of the APC in all parts of the country are mobilized to come out en masse from the polling unit, ward and Local Government levels to participate in the elections.

He said this time around all members of the party would be carried along in the campaign irrespective of age or gender as “the Presidential Campaign Council has engaged the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party, and is clearly spelling out roles for women and youths in the forthcoming campaigns.”

Also speaking at the event, the Deputy Secretary, PCC, Hon.Christopher Tarka

assured that based on the vision they have for the country, the Tinubu/Shetima ticket will transform Nigeria.

Wife of the Presidential candidate, Senator Remi Tinubu in a goodwill message read on her behalf, appreciated the Support Group.

One of the Zonal Coordinators, Dr Fitka Stephen and a former governorship aspirant in separate remarks, congratulated the Governor over his well deserved appointment as Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, promising their unaloyed support to work for the victory of the party.

Highlights of the occasion included the unveiling of the policy document and inauguration of the directorates of the Nigeria -for-Bat group.
