50,000 PDP, APC members to defect to Labour Party in Imo

 

More than 50, 000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party, All Progressives Congress and All Progressives Grand Alliance, respectively will on Saturday defect to the Labour Party in Mbaise, Imo State.

The defection ceremony which will take place at Ogbe Ahiara in the Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, has been described as the biggest political earthquake in Mbaise nation’s political history.

It was gathered that the audacious political move would be led by one of the biggest political chieftains in Mbaise, Chief Ihedioha.

Speaking in Owerri, the state capital ahead of the Saturday’s earthshaking outing, the popular Chief Chikaodi Ihedioha said that the defection ceremony was the resolved of the people of Mbaise to ensure that the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won the February 25, 2023, presidential election.

Chief Ihedioha said that the target was to ensure that Obi got 100 percent of the votes that would be cast in the three LGAs of Mbaise nation during the presidential polls.
