Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted Hon. Nelson Adepoyigi, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ward 5, Ifon in Ose local government area of Ondo State.

It was gathered that Hon. Adepoyigi was abducted while parking his car around 10pm on Monday.

A source said that the assailants stormed the compound of the victim where they pounced on him with sticks before whisking him away.

Adepoyigi’s wife, who heard his cries for help, rushed out but found out that her husband had already been taken away by the abductors.

The source further disclosed that the kidnappers had contacted the family of the politician, demanding N100 million ransom for his release.
