Diddy caught drinking in prison after telling judge he is sober

Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has allegedly been caught sipping homemade alcohol in jail despite previously claiming he had stopped drinking.

Combs, 56, is serving a four-year sentence at Fort Dix prison for prostitution-related charges.

The rapper penned a grovelling apology letter to Judge Arun Subramanian before his sentencing last month, saying he is “sober for the first time in 25 years.”

In the letter, he admitted: “I literally lost my mind. I’m sorry for that and always will be.” He blamed his actions on drink and drugs, adding, “I lost my way. My downfall was rooted in my selfishness. I have been humbled and broken to my core. The old me died in jail and a new version of me was born. Prison will change you or kill you – I choose to live.”

Sources told TMZ that Combs was caught drinking a DIY concoction reportedly made by mixing sugar, Fanta, and apples and letting it ferment for two weeks.

When asked, a prison official said they had “no information” about the allegations.

A representative for Combs told Page Six on Friday: “Mr. Combs is in his first week at FCI Fort Dix and is focused on adjusting, working on himself, and doing better each day. As with any high-profile individual in a new environment, there will be many rumors and exaggerated stories throughout his time there—most of them untrue. We ask that people give him the benefit of the doubt, the privacy to focus on his personal growth with grace and purpose.”

Combs celebrated his 56th birthday behind bars on Tuesday, reportedly enjoying pizza for dinner. He has already taken on a prison job in the laundry.

The Bad Boy Records founder is expected to serve a 50-month term, with his earliest release date projected for May 8, 2028, including time already served in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
