With days and weeks counting for the 2027 general election, the Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency Elders Forum has endorsed the candidature of Hon Tony Nweze Nwora (TNN), the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate for the Onitsha North and South Federal Constituency in the 2027, general electionBuy Maps
In a general meeting held in Onitsha Wednesday where the representatives of each ward in the Senatorial zone met, the forum unanimously endorsed Hon Tony Nweze Nwora TNN for the upcoming 2027 Constituency election.
Speaking after the meeting,the chairman of the forum, Chief Daniel Anunihu , said the endorsement of Nweze TNN, a former Onitsha North Mayor was based on his humane, effective and people-orientated government in the local council Area where he has distinguished and identified himself with the people.
Chief Anunihu said: “He did well in the in the local Council Area. That is why we are asking him to represent us in the green chamber. If a student does well in his class, he would be promoted. So, Nweze Nwora TNN should be promoted because he did well previously.Access Services
The era of those who use, people especially the youth and dump them has gone for good”.
He said they would prefer backing somebody who has a clean record than someone who has criminal charges hanging around his/ her neck, (now and then, instead of concentrating on his legislative duties which is a serious distraction).
” We don’t want somebody who carries baggage to represent us in the green Chamber of the Federal Republic of Nigeria again.
We don’t want a situation where our federal House member would always be distracted for no reasons

The group asked the people to get their Permanent Voters’Card (PVC) ready and vote for TNN
“Vote APGA in the 2027 elections. That is our stand” said Anunihu.
